Thousands of Ethiopian children suffer disproportionately because of
poverty. Poor families struggle to find money for their children’s food,
shelter, clothing, and education.
Kana Academy
aims to support the children of poor families and enable them to have
proper schooling in order to help break the cycle of poverty. Better
education will help them to become self sufficient.
Kana Academy
has been established for 2-years and currently has 75 students divided
between three Kindergarten classes. In order to expand this work in the
semi-urban area of Motta the Ethiopian government has donated a nearby
piece of land on which to build a new school. The total cost of the
building is likely to be BP70, 000 and a bank loan for 70% of this will be
forth coming when the balance of BP21, 000 has been raised.

to help those less fortunate than themselves and by giving to Kana

every penny of your support will be used directly to help some of the
poorest children in Ethiopia.
Kana Academy
also needs sponsors to help meet the school fees for selected students of
